Thailand's Songkran Festival 2024 to conclude on April 21

Central Pattana, Thailand’s leading real estate developer for sustainabi­lity and operator of Central shopping centres nationwide, including iconic destinatio­ns such as Central World Bangkok, Central Village Bangkok Luxury Outlet, Central Pattaya, Central Phuket, and Central Samui, has launched the biggest global entertainm­ent campaign - Thailand's Songkran Festival.

The festival, which began on April 2, concludes on April 21 at Central shopping centers nationwide. Songkran, known as the Thai New Year, is one of Thailand's most iconic festivals, celebrated nationwide in April, marked by water fights, temple visits, and family reunions, a press release said.

Central Pattana aims for 'Thailand's Songkran' to be listed among the Top 10 global festivals. The campaign features 1,000 events, including six major highlights combining culture with entertainm­ent. The highlight includes an internatio­nal surprise - Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios, will be sent directly from the Miss Universe stage to become Miss Songkran in Thailand and serve as a Global Cultural Ambassador to promote 'The Best of Thainess' worldwide.
