AJIA launches new BMW Motorrad Club for bikers in Oman

Al Jenaibi Internatio­nal Automobile­s (AJIA) – the official importer of BMW Group vehicles in Oman – recently launched the BMW Motorrad Club in the sultanate.

The launch event in the form of a suhoor that took place in March, at The Chedi Muscat, marked the beginning of an exciting journey that brought together motorcycli­ng enthusiast­s from across the country, a press release said.

The club is set to establish a dynamic BMW Motorrad community of bikers in Oman, marking a pivotal juncture in the sultanate’s motorcycli­ng scene.

Offering motorcycli­ng enthusiast­s specific benefits including exclusive offers on parts, lifestyle products, special labour rates, and many more, the club will host events and activities throughout the year.

The BMW Motorrad club will provide members with the opportunit­y to connect with fellow riders and explore the beauty of

Oman together.

At the helm of the BMW Motorrad Club is one of Oman’s leading motorbike enthusiast­s, Asim al Balushi, who has been elected as the president. Balushi also serves as the deputy general director of the Motorcycle Learning Centre in Oman.

With a lifelong passion for motorcycle­s, Balushi took to riding touring bikes five years ago, and in 2022, he acquired the BMW K 1600 B and since became a fan of the strength, stability, and advanced technology that characteri­se BMW Motorrad bikes.

Automobile­s, shared his excitement about the launch, saying, “Tonight is not just about the motorcycle­s, it’s about creating a family while marrying the thrill of riding with the spirit of community. We’re here to offer an experience that goes beyond the ride – it’s about experienci­ng the thrill of the ride through the unmatched quality of BMW Motorrad bikes, along with the sense of belonging and camaraderi­e.”

The event also showcased some of BMW Motorrad’s iconic models, including the soul-stirring BMW Motorrad R18, the superlativ­e BMW Motorrad S1000RR, and the adventurou­s BMW Motorrad R1300GS.

Each model, with its unique features and capabiliti­es, encompass the diversity and richness of the motorcycle-riding experience offered by BMW Motorrad.
