Asyad Group opens applications for logistics accelerator programme
Muscat - Asyad Group, Oman’s global integrated logistics provider, in partnership with Omantel Innovation Labs, has opened applications for its highly anticipated Asyad Accelerator Programme.
The initiative marks a significant milestone in enhancing Oman’s technology and logistics sectors by supporting the nation’s most innovative technology startups.
Focused on supply chain optimisation, sustainable logistics and cold chain logistics, the sixmonth accelerator programme has been designed to empower early-stage Omani startups that are developing cutting-edge solutions to address key challenges and seize opportunities within the logistics industry.
This effort aligns with Asyad’s commitment to bolster SMES and foster entrepreneurship throughout Oman, stated a press release.
Participants in the accelerator programme will benefit from expert mentorship in financial viability, market desirability, technical feasibility, and fundraising strategies.
The programme also offers a comprehensive perks package that grants access to global resources such as legal, accounting, bookkeeping, and cloud computing services.
Moreover, startups enrolled in the programme will have a unique opportunity to secure potential investment from Omantel Innovation Labs and connect with a global network of mentors, corporate partners, and investors.
Khalfan al Khusaibi, Group InCountry Value Lead at Asyad Group, emphasised the programme’s role in the regional logistics landscape.
“Our mission at Asyad Group is to propel the development of Oman as a global logistics hub through our integrated logistics ecosystem,” he said.
“We strongly believe in the vital role of the private sector, especially SMES, in achieving this mission. This programme is Asyad’s call to innovative, visionary entrepreneurs to join us in redefining the future of logistics in Oman and beyond. Through this targeted accelerator, we look forward to enabling Oman’s most promising startups to grow and thrive.”
To be considered for this opportunity, eligible startups should demonstrate that they are developing proprietary solutions with potential to enhance Asyad Group’s operations.
Applicants should have a minimum viable product and be ready to scale.
Earlier stage companies and technology startups outside of the programme’s focus areas will be considered based on relevance and viability.
