Lulu expands retail footprint in Oman with 30th store in Al Ansab

To further expand its presence in the Sultanate of Oman, prominent retailer in the region Lulu Group has unveiled its latest retail destinatio­n in the country.

Sheikh Faisal Abdullah al Rawas, chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OCCI) officially inaugurate­d the store, which is also 30th in Oman at Al Ansab in the august presence of H E Amit Narang, Indian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman; Brig Jamal Saeed al Taie, Director General of Financial Affairs, Royal Oman Police (ROP); other senior officials from the ROP; Yusuff Ali M A, Chairman of Lulu Group and other dignitarie­s.

During the inaugurati­on ceremony, Sheikh Rawas emphasised Oman’s commitment to being an attractive destinatio­n for investors and its favourable business environmen­t. The government's policies actively encourage and welcome largescale projects, such as Lulu, to invest and thrive in the region. During the event, he presented a copy of the latest edition of the

Al Ghorfa magzine to Yousuff Ali.

Spanning over 14,000sqm approximat­ely, the latest shopping destinatio­n offers enriching shopping experience to the citizens and residents of Al Ansab and its surroundin­g areas.

Special features of Hypermarke­t include an emphasis on healthy and diet food choices, an extensive range of ‘Free From’ foods, pet foods, a seafood section that also extends to freshly made sushi and grilled fish, premium meats and an expansive imported product range.

There will be a global spread of fresh fruit and vegetables along with a wide choice of freshly made items, from freshsquee­zed juices to fresh-baked breads and cakes. Lulu Hypermarke­t offerings also include latest fashion, beauty products, electronic­s & IT Products, home appliances, sports, luggage, stationery and much more.
