OMANI STUDENTS REWARDED FOR ELEVATING OMAN’S ENERGY INDUSTRY R&D ECOSYSTEM
Four Omani students were recognized at the commemorative 5th anniversary Gulf Intelligence Oman Energy forum in the presence of 250 senior energy industry executives.
The Awards presented by H.E. Talal AlRahbi, Deputy Secretary General, Supreme Council for Planning, Oman and Steve Kelly, President & General Manager of Occidental Oman showcased the commitment to underpin the alignment between industry and academia, and celebrate Oman’s energy industry’s future inventors and scientists.
The Winners of the Occidental Oman Student Awards 2017 for the Advancement of Post-Graduate Education are: Dr. Khalid Al Hinai, PhD in Enhanced Oil Recovery, Sultan Qaboos University; Ahmed Al Hatrooshi, PhD researcher in Chemical Engineering, Newcastle University; Hajir Al Farsi, Masters in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Sultan Qaboos University; and Ahmed Salim Al-Shereiqi, Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Sultan Qaboos University.
