IHE CELEBRATES 60 YEARS OF PUTZMEISTER

Putzmeister represented in Oman by International Heavy Equipment (IHE), recently celebrated its 60th anniversary since it was founded in 1958. Founded by Karl Schlecht in 1958, Putzmeister stands today as a global market leaders in the concrete sector.

Commenting on the renowned global brand, Ram Mohan, General Manager of IHE said, “At IHE we aim to provide highest standards or service and state-of-the-art technology to guarantee customer satisfaction. With the development of a practical mortar pump (1958), the first continuous mixing pump for gypsum plaster (1965) and a compressed airbased screed conveyor (1965), Karl Schlecht, the founder of Putzmeister, revolutionised the industry in both interior and exterior construction work. These technical milestones made heavy physical work on construction sites not only considerably easier but also more streamlined. Since the acquisition of the ‘Brinkmann’ brand in 2008 and relocation to the Aichtal branch in 2012, the company’s market presence is now stronger than ever.
