Anup Engineering is primarily into manufacturing of static process equipment - mainly Shell & Tube Exchangers, Columns, Reactors and Pressure Vessels for core sectors like Crude oil Refining, Petrochemicals, Fertilisers, Chemicals, Power and Water treatment plants. All these equipment require high end engineering and design capabilities such as Thermal Design and Vibration Analysis, FE Analysis and designing under fatigue conditions. Anup is well placed to offer equipment as well as special design services.
THE COMPANY’S PRESENCE IN THE MIDDLE EAST REGION AND OMAN IN PARTICULAR?
We have in the past several years
supplied to several end-users in the Middle East region directly as well as via EPC contractors, catering both to the replacement as well as new project requirements. We have supplied to ORPIC – Oman, SABIC & Saudi ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia, several projects in the UAE as well as Kuwait.
We have appointed our representatives in the key markets and now intend to intensify our marketing efforts in this market in a major way.
WHAT ARE THE LATEST TRENDS IN THE HEAVY ENGINEERING FIELD?
Heavy Engineering businesses just as any other business are seeing a huge surge of technology assimilation in all aspects including design, manufacturing, quality control and project management. With more process plants focusing on modernisation and attaining the flexibilities to process sour crudes, the criticality of the processes - in terms of complex materials, higher operating pressures and temperatures - has escalated tremendously. The complex materials of construction and challenging designs translate into ever increasing & challenging expectations from fabricators to comply with.
