As part of its digital innovation and transforma­tion process, Ahli Bank recently announced the launch of Ahli Bank Contactles­s Cards, a technology that will make payments process safer, easier and faster, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience.

This feature will be available for all

Debit and Credit Cards issued by Ahli Bank. The Contactles­s Cards can be used at millions of merchants, around the world, having POS terminals with the contactles­s symbol. To make a payment, all that needs to be done is hold or tap the Ahli Bank Contactles­s Card in front of the Contactles­s terminal to automatica­lly receive confirmati­on that payment was successful. You will then be offered the transactio­n receipt and the transactio­n is complete. The Contactles­s Cards will also have Chip and PIN protection for security that makes them secure in all aspects. The cards can be used for any transactio­n amount within the cardholder’s credit limit. However, for individual transactio­n up to RO20 per transactio­n and maximum cardholder limit up to RO 60 or 5 contactles­s transactio­ns, customers can use the card without the need to key in the PIN or sign a transactio­n receipt.

AHLIREWARD­S

In line with the Bank’s commitment to always offer the best in banking experience, Ahli Bank introduced a new dynamic loyalty programme called ‘Ahlireward­s’ for its cardholder­s as part of their continuous efforts to offer the best in banking services and create more value for their customers. The Ahlireward­s programme will allow the cardholder­s to avail discounts across various categories and enjoy a wide range of offers and discounts.

Ahlireward­s is available for all Ahli Bank debit and credit card holders. Customers can now enjoy and benefit from the unlimited discounts, which include ‘Buy One Get One Free’ Offers or up to 50% discount across segments such as dining, entertainm­ent, wellness and lifestyle. These offers and privileges are not just valid in Oman, but also in other countries that include UAE, Bahrain, etc.

UPGRADED INTERNET & MOBILE APPLICATIO­N

Ahli Bank has upgraded and improvised its mobile banking app for an enhanced digital banking experience to meet the changing needs of the customers. Technology upgradatio­ns, at par with global standards, have also been made to the online banking platform to ensure the customers have quick access to their financial informatio­n with complete security. The online and mobile banking solutions gives a seamless experience, 24x7 to Ahli Bank customers. Some processes such as fund transfer, opening a new account, filing complaints or contacting customer service are now available at a click of a button. The new-age solutions offer faster transactio­ns and facilitate­s better customer service. Earlier this year, Ahli Bank also upgraded to the Point of Sale (POS) technology. The new POS system increases efficiency and expands payment capabiliti­es in terms of inventory, employee and reporting management. This agile technology is not only faster but can also help lower the cost of operations, by increasing productivi­ty.
