Minister of the Royal Office also receives ambassador­s of Qatar, Libya and the Philippine­s

MUSCAT — Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office, received in his office here yesterday former German chancellor Dr Gerhard Schroeder, within the framework of his current visit to the Sultanate.

The meeting discussed means of enhancing the existing relations between the Sultanate and the Republic of Germany. The meeting also discussed issues of common concern.

Later in separate meetings, Al Nuamani also received in his office Abdullah bin Mohammed al Khatir, Ambassador of Qatar to the Sultanate. During the meeting, cordial conversati­ons were exchanged.

The meeting also reviewed march of the strong fraternal relations binding the leadership­s of the two countries and discussing ties of the existing co-operation and means of enhancing them to serve the joint interests of the two countries and meet the aspiration­s besides discussing a number of issues of common concern.

Al Nuamani also received Dr Yunis Salim al Ogaili, Ambassador of Libya to the Sultanate, and Joselito Elijado, Ambassador of Philippine­s to the Sultanate.

During the meeting, cordial conversati­ons were exchanged.

The meeting also reviewed the bilateral relations binding the two countries in all spheres and means of enhancing them to serve the joint interests, in addition to discussing a number of topics of common concern. — ONA
