Former Isro chief to attend ISS fete
MUSCAT — Under the auspices of Dr Ahmad bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications Minister and in collaboration with Bentley Systems, the Ministry of Transport and Communications conducted a workshop under the title ‘best digital practices to co-ordinate and execute international engineering infrastructure projects.’
A team of experts from Bentley Systems from the UK displayed and analysed relevant topics like best practices in information management and basic digital infrastructure, personnel, standards, operations, for using digital information and cross realm. The workshop discussed projects of digital and engineering development and modernisation dealing with engineering aspects and types of basic infrastructure projects. — ONA MUSCAT — Padma Vibushan Dr G Madhavan Nair, the brain behind India’s space research ventures, is to attend the 30th year celebrations of the Indian School Salalah (ISS) which will be held from February 1 to 3.
Padma Vibushan Dr G Madhavan Nair is the former chairman of Isro and Secretary to the Department of Space, Government of India and he is a leading technologist in the field of rocket system.
On February 1, there will be an exclusive interaction session for the special invitees and senior students with Dr Nair. On February 2, he will preside over the annual day and participate in an interactive session with the teachers the next day.
