His Majesty receives credentials of ambassadors
MANAH — His Majesty Sultan Qaboos received at Hisn Ash’shumookh in the Wilayat of Manah yesterday the credentials of five ambassadors accredited to the Sultanate.
His Majesty received the credentials of Sergi Piscov, Ambassador of Federal Russia; Tariq al Hussaisan, Ambassador of Morocco; Met'ab Wasios al Zaban, Ambassador of Jordan; Dr Oscaras Jusys, Non-resident Ambassador of Lithuania; and Dr Johannes Wimmer, Non-resident Ambassador of Austria to the Sultanate.
During side meetings with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings of the leaders of their respective countries, who wished His Majesty the Sultan good health, happiness and a long life and the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
The ambassadors said they were delighted to present their credentials to His Majesty the Sultan. They vowed to do their best to develop their countries’ relations with the Sultanate. His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors and thanked the leaders for their sincere sentiments.
He assured the ambassadors that they would receive full support from him in person and from the Omani government and people.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Minister Responsible for Financial Affairs, the Head of the Royal Protocols, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman and the Military Aides of His Majesty the Sultan. — ONA
