A gas pipeline from the Saih Nihayda gas eld to fuel Duqm’s future industrial and power generation requirements is expected to ready by 2017. Extension of water supply networks in Muscat Governorate is an important project currently under study at the Authority. This project will cover Seeb, Bausher, Muscat and Amerat.
Improvement of Barka-Mawaleh-Bausher transformation system, which includes installation of nine pumping stations, construction of ground reservoir and pipelines, is under study.
