Notary Public Affairs Dept transferred

MUSCAT — Two Omani students from Al Sultan School obtained two prestigious awards in the 'Train of Knowledge' competition, which was held at the Middle East level by the Education Ministry of the United Arab Emirates.

Participants from different schools in the Sultanate, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, Egypt and Palestine participated in the competition in which Zahra bint Ahmed al Hashmiyah came third whilst A’alaa bint Ahmed al Rawahiyah came fourth.

The competition aimed at enhancing the care of schools, educational institutions and social organisations, as well as encouraging reading skills among students. — ONA MUSCAT — Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Justice Minister, yesterday issued a ministerial decision transferring the af liation of the Notary Public Affairs Department to the of ce of the Ministry's Under-Secretary and the af liation of the Experts Affairs and Authentication Of ce to the Directorate General of Legal Affairs and International Co-operation.

It is worth mentioning that before the issuance of the Royal Decree No 10/2012, these departments were af liated to the Directorate General of Courts whose af liation was shifted by the said Royal Decree to the Council of Administrative Affairs at the Supreme Court.
