Oman Air to host IAAIA conference
MUSCAT — Oman Air is hosting the 21st Annual Conference of the International Association of Airline Internal Auditors (IAAIA).
The IAAIA Annual Conference will be held at the luxurious Shangri-La Bar al Jissah Resort and Spa in Muscat from October 14 - 17.
The Conference Inaugural function will be held on October 15, under the auspices of Shaikh Nasser bin Hilal al Mawali, Chairman of the State Audit Institution, in the presence of high-ranking of cials from both the public and the private sectors.

The IAAIA is the only voluntary, non-pro t organisation serving the aviation industry’s audit community and comprises of over sixty member airlines from around the world. Forty-two of those member airlines will be represented at the event by around hundred delegates, who will enjoy the presentations and insights of a range of highly-respected industry experts.
The conference comes at a time when the airline’s key managers are taking an increasingly high pro le role in a number of leading professional organisations.
In addition to Mohammed al Musa r’s Chairmanship of the IAAIA 21st Annual Conference, Oman Air’s General Manager, In ight Services, Linda Celestino, was recently elected as President of the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and these two prestigious roles re ect not only the post-holders’ internationally-recognised expertise, but also Oman Air’s increasing prominence as an international carrier of the highest quality.
