Omanexpo to attend International Motor Show in Frankfurt
MUSCAT: Pioneer exhibitions and conferences organiser Omanexpo, organiser of Oman’s longest-running premier International Motor Show, is scheduled to visit the 66th International Motor Show Germany, one of the largest motor shows in the world alongside the Geneva and Paris Motor Shows. The show will run from September 17 to 27, 2015.
In keeping with its commitment to continuously improve the show quality, value, and visitor experience, Omanexpo strives to continue the tradition started in 1990, while consistently breaking new ground with novel and innovative features and concepts. Omanexpo plans to strategically integrate with worldclass Motor Shows to ensure Oman is a regional hub for the automobile industry. This is also a key initiative of Ithraa (Public Authority for Investment Promotion & Export).

“We are also looking forward to holding the show at the new Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre a befitting venue to a potential key trade show destination, a come-on to global companies, and a promising attraction for foreign investment.” The prestigious International Motor Show Germany, organised by the Association of the German Automotive Industry, will showcase the latest trends and technological highlights of the automotive year 2015, major launches of cars from the most elite brands that preview the next decade, among them the Jaguar F-PACE, Maserati Levante, BMx1, Mercedes new C-Coupe, and the 2016 Toyota Prius plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
Totalling an area of 250,000 square metres, about 1,000 exhibitors from 40 countries will display their innovations which demonstrate the show’s theme “Mobility connects — Connected and automated driving.” The show will feature everything from driver assistance systems to a wide range of mobility solutions and services, in addition to test drives and off-road activities.
