Singer Kylie Minogue ( pictured) has recorded a duet with her younger sister Dannii for her disco-influenced Christmas album. The pop siblings met up for secret recording sessions last month when Dannii, 43, was in the UK for her live shows at the G-A-Y nightclub here and headlining Manchester Pride, reports mirror. co.uk. to spending days and nights with these two, and they going through their training in dancing, action and other such things. I was working on ‘Bajrangi...’ but my concentration was more on this than ‘Bajrangi...’ because I’ve seen my life journey but their careers start now, it shouldn’t be that fingers should point at me, that I’ve put them into trouble.”

Director Nikhil Advani had claimed at a previous event that Salman wanted his film to be shot on a big scale, on the lines to their previous collaboration, ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’.

The film is releasing on September 11 and Salman admits that releasing the music just a week prior to the release wasn’t a great idea. “Obviously the music has picked up and become a big hit, but I think we erred as we should’ve released the music at least four months before. As producers, we’ve messed up on that. I think we need slightly more time for music, especially in a love story. For all the 5-6 songs to become hits we need sufficient time. It’s important to promote it in this short time because their whole life depends on the music of the film.”

‘Hero’ is the second film under the banner of Salman Khan Films after the blockbuster ‘ Bajrangi have finalised a few Christmas covers — including Wham!’s ‘Last christmas’, but Kylie will wait to decide which song she’ll use.

It would be the first time the pair have collaborated musically since 2008.

Kylie has for many years worked and lived in London. She signed to PWL in 1987 and released her first studio album Kylie the next year. In 1992, Minogue left PWL and signed with Deconstruction Records and where she created her self-titled studio album and Impossible Princess, both of which received positive reviews from critics. Returning to more mainstream dance-oriented music, Minogue signed to Parlophone and released ‘Spinning Around’, which was considered a return to prominence. — IANS/Reuters Bhaijaan’. Salman on his singing ability: Superstar Salman Khan, whose position in Bollywood’s box office race is often compared with Shah Rukh Khan, says the actor would be in a “losing battle” against him as far as singing is concerned.

Salman’s latest attempt at exercising his vocal chords for a song is for the title track of his forthcoming production ‘Hero’, with which he is launching two new faces — Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty — in the film industry.

He was in a jovial mood and cracked jokes at an event in Mumbai, where he came along with Sooraj, Athiya, ‘Hero’ director Nikhil Advani and singers Palak Muchhal and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Salman quipped that all Khans will let him win as far as singing is concerned.

When mediapersons asked Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who amongst Shah Rukh and Salman is more musical, he said: “I just heard Salman’s singing but have not heard Shah Rukh yet.”

Salman immediately interrupted and said: “There is no chance! It’s a losing battle. I have heard... Both Shah Rukh and Aamir will let me win. No doubt on that.”
