SMEs to explore business opportunities at OFEC
MUSCAT: The first version of Oman Franchise Exhibition and Conference (OFEC 2016) will kick off in October in order to enable SMEs to explore various business opportunities and the acquisition of knowledge and insights on the latest developments and opportunities in the franchise industry.
The three-day conference and exhibition is organised by Al Nimr Expo, in collaboration with the Middle East and North Africa Franchise Association (MENAFA), as well as the support of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the Public Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (Riyada), the Omani-American Commercial Centre and the British Board of Trade and Investment.
The exhibition brings together major international franchise brands and competent authorities in the field of franchise associations that will provide a variety of trade and investment opportunities for Omani entrepreneurs wishing to start their own business or to internationally export their brand.
International experts will take part to showcase their scientific and practical expertise in franchising and entrepreneurship. It will also include the establishment of workshops held daily during the exhibition to increase awareness and knowledge about the franchise and promote ways to communicate and benefit from mutual experiences.
The exhibition will also feature Omani brands looking to export and granting of franchise rights, as well as international franchise companies from various countries around the world, such as the USA, Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, UAE and Saudi Arabia in various sectors including restaurants, cafes, retail, technology, health, sport clubs, real estate and others.
