Higher Education Festival attracts visitors

MUSCAT: The Higher Education Exhibition kicked off at Oman Internatio­nal Exhibition Centre under the auspices of Dr Said bin Hamad al Ruba’ie, Secretary-General of the Education Council.

More than 40 educationa­l institutio­ns are taking part in this threeday exhibition, which is organised by Arabian Gate Expo.

The chief guest said that the Sultanate’s government accords great attention to education despite the current challenges. He affirmed that chances of getting scholarshi­ps are still available, whether internal or external or at public higher education institutio­ns.

He added that the exhibition is an opportunit­y for General Education Diploma students, who can get all the informatio­n and questions about the programmes that they wish to enroll at, especially the new ones.

He said that the exhibition represents an opportunit­y to familiaris­e with the services offered by these institutio­ns.

Kinana bint Ibrahim al Hinai, Director of the Arabian Gate Expo, said that the exhibition aims at informing students, especially GED graduates on various programmes and services provided by colleges and universiti­es at one place.

She added that the exhibition provides an opportunit­y to meet officials of various universiti­es, colleges, institutes and get answers for their inquiries by the officials.

Arabian Gate Expo is proud to announce that this is one of many exhibition­s to take place over the coming year to support and enhance the growth and developmen­t of Oman in educationa­l and profession­al sectors.
