National Day festivities continue in wilayats

Dec 1: Human Resources Development Department at the Directorate-General of Education in Al Dakhiliyah organised a celebration to mark the 46 National Day at the Higher Judicial Institute auditorium in Nizwa recently.

The ceremony was presided by Suleiman bin Abdullah bin Mohammed al Salmi, Director-General of Education in Al Dakhiliyah, in the presence Nasser bin Ali al Khayari, Director-General Assistant at the Directorate, their deputies. Heads of sections were also present. The celebration highlighted the achievements made by the Sultanate.

Saif bin Said bin Suleiman al Haji, Head of the Humanities Department, delivered a speech in which he explained the importance of National Day anniversaries and what it means to every citizen. “The celebration reflects our patriotism. On this day we must ponder on the national achievements” he said.

Saif al Haji said: “The homeland lives in our heart always, but on November 18 we get an opportunity to renew that feeling. We pledge to stand in solidarity with the leader. On this day we recall the nation’s achievements and struggle. We now live in security, stability and a life of comfort. Thanks to Allah and the wise leadership that has always held the citizens’ concerns and aspirations high.”
