Haya Water organises occupational health and safety workshop

HAYA Water truly believes on the importance of occupational health and safety and environment and that it is necessary to find a safe working environment for its employees and contractors. Therefore, the company, represented by Corporate Support Division, organised an extended workshop on occupational health and safety and environment.

The workshop was held with the presence of Eng Hussain bin Hassan AbdulHussain, CEO of Haya Water, the Leadership Team and a group of employees and Haya contractors who are working in various projects.

The workshop included many useful items which focused on the most important developments that have affected the occupational health and safety sector. Two lectures were delivered during the workshop; the first one was presented by Khalifa al Maskary, an Occupational Health Consultant. Khalifa talked about the importance of maintaining occupational safety in the working environment and he emphasised on the role of the Health and Safety Section to take all necessary measures that ensure maintaining the health of all employees which will enhance the daily performance and productivity.

The other lecture was presented by Dr Salah al Zadjali where he talked about the challenges that face the employees who work in the field of occupational health and safety and environment. The lecture also shed light on the mechanisms and techniques that are used to deal with pressure at work using the best scientific methods to ensure maintaining the health and the workflow, as well.
