Bahihi move into Intermediate semis
Khalsa United thumped Design Group by 88 runs to move into semifinals of the junior division
MUSCAT: Bahihi beat Ibrahim Kishri by 39 runs entered the semifinals of the Oman Cricket Intermediate division knockout tournament on February 17.
Batting first, Bahihi scored 204 all out in 19 overs with Iqbal Mohammed, Shaheer Najeeb and Murad Khan posting half centuries. Asad Shah claimed 3 wickets for Ibrahim Kishri. In reply, Ibrahim Kishri were all out for 165 in 18.2 overs. Sameer Sheikh and Guru Prasad claimed 3 wickets each to enable progression to the semifinals, where they’ll play NBO. 105-RUN WIN FOR NBO In another Intermediate division quarterfinal, NBO thrashed Bank Muscat by 105 runs.
Batting first, NBO scored 1975 in 20 overs. Sagheer Mohammed hit 86. In reply, Bank Muscat were all out for 92 in 14.1 overs. Mozzam Shah, Zaheer Abbas and Adnan Haq claimed 3 wickets each to enable the win for NBO. They will play Bahihi in the semifinals next week.
