Ahlibank holds branch managers’ meeting
MUSCAT: With an objective to review the progress of the past year, and to strategise for the year ahead, ahlibank recently held a branch managers and sales team meeting at its head office in Wattayah.
The meeting was attended by senior management, divisional heads, the branch managers from the ahlibank network, and sales team heads. Thanking the branch managers and their teams for their ongoing efforts to meet customer expectations, Lloyd Maddock, Chief Executive Officer said, “We will continue providing value to our customers and to our shareholders.”
The meeting reviewed the financial performance for 2016 which reflected growth in key areas in line with the bank’s business plan. The bottom line net profit after tax having increased by 6.9 per cent to RO 29.6 million.
Urging branch managers to carry forward the bank’s commitment to providing excellence in customer service, the CEO said, “We must remain dedicated to delivering the best possible service, whether at a branch, or through alternate channels. Our customer focus will set us apart from competitors.” The branch managers’ meeting reflected and discussed plans, goals and priorities for business growth in 2017. The meeting deliberated a number of suggestions and recommendations aimed at improving the bank’s businesses and services.
