MEC ties up with NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences
MIDDLE East College (MEC) has entered into an academic collaboration with NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands on June 1, 2017 in a ceremony held on its campus. The agreement was signed by Lefeer Muhamed, Managing Director of Middle East College and Hein Van Oorschot, President of the Executive Board, NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences. The partnership allows MEC to offer programmes in Logistics in affiliation with NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences after completing the mandatory programme approvals required in the Sultanate.
Dean of MEC, Dr Kiran, pointed out, “MEC has always given the highest priority to aligning its contributions with the country’s strategic directions. The logistics sector plays a key role in Oman’s economic growth and overall development. Having identified this requirement, academic collaboration was established with the most appropriate partner — NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands. We are confident that this partnership will take us forward in developing the logistics field in the Sultanate. We would also like to thank the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), Oman and Oman Global Logistics Group (Asyad) for their continuous support in making this venture possible”.
