Al Mouj Marina gets Five Gold Anchor status
AL Mouj Marina, Oman’s premier marina facility, has been awarded five Gold Anchors by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) making it one of only four marinas in the Gulf to join this exclusive group.
The 124-berth facility marina, located at the heart of Oman’s lifestyle destination, Al Mouj Muscat, won the prestigious certification for attributes including good customer service, giving value for money at all levels of accreditation and achieving recognised industry standards. The Gold Anchor Award Scheme, established by TYHA almost 25 years ago, has been assessing marinas throughout the world and is considered as a reliable evaluator of marina quality. TYHA awards upwards of five Gold Anchors to marinas that voluntarily undergo a series of rigorous tests including a marina audit, mystery shoppers and customer questionnaires. More than 130 marinas in nearly two dozen countries have participated in the Gold Anchor Award Scheme.
Nasser bin Masoud al Sheibani, CEO of Al Mouj Muscat, said, “We are delighted to win this accreditation which is a trusted measure of marina excellence. This recognition will provide customers with even more confidence in our marina. We work very hard to offer marina customers and berth-holders highest professional standards. We are also fully committed to good environmental practices and safety procedures.” end of the year.
