NBC signs incubation agreements with four local companies

MUSCAT: The National Business Centre (NBC), which pertains to the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), recently signed four incubation pacts with local firms.

The first pact was signed with Nour Al Amal Business Services, which provides cleaning and home maintenance services through the creation of an integrated electronic platform for these services through an application for Android and iphone mobile phones as well as a website that serves as an intermediary between service providers and customers.

This application greatly contributes to finding an easy and flexible way for homeowners to do their house maintenance without having to get out of it. It also contributes to providing various advantages to cleaning and maintenance companies.

The second company that got incubated at NBC is Recycling Services, which is a leading provider of comprehensive waste management services in Oman, providing services that range from collecting, sorting and exporting waste materials for recycling like paper, plastic and metal.

The third pact was signed with Shapeable Company; a production design and development company that creates solutions for clients that are characterised with high efficiency, low cost and relevant to market.

The company offers ideation and developing concept, RD, product development, 3D CAD design, industrial design, product design and modelling. NBC has also signed with Savannah Restaurant, which is specialised in African cuisine, and catering parties and events.

NBC is an initiative launched by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) at the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas and advance them into growing ventures.

The centre offers a premier platform for Omani entrepreneurs by providing business development support and guidance, training and mentoring, access to markets and industry experts, and state-of-the-art and fully equipped office space, meeting rooms and presentation facilities.
