BRF and AMLS integrate operating system
MUSCAT: In line with BRF’S global strategy, Brf-onefoods (BRF) and Al Madina Logistics (AMLS) have successfully integrated BRF’S SAP ERP system with AMLS’ WMS system for better flow of information and data. This integration will help systems to update the data and flow of information in real-time to help better decision making and analysing the demand and inventory management.
Mahmoud Sakhi al Balushi, CEO of AMLS, said: “We are pleased to announce the successful integration of the two systems in record time with almost no problems”. “The work was done jointly by AMLS and BRF IT and operation teams. This step will contribute to achieving highest accuracy and efficiency of the inventory. We are proud of this achievement and are happy to be part of the success of BRF in Oman,” al Balushi added.
“BRF has successfully launched the integration of its operating system with AMLS, our logistics and supply chain partner,” said Didier, Country Manager of Brf-onefoods. “Now, we will be able to directly manage the operational system and thus flow of the information, data and issuance of documents and invoices and manage the supply chain operations efficiently. All this will help us to further expand and meet the requirements of our customers in Oman.”
BRF-OMAN was awarded as the inaugural winner of the 2017 Logistic Excellence Program awards among the GCC countries. This required team work and close cooperation between the BRF team and the AMLS team.
