BRF and AMLS integrate operating system

MUSCAT: In line with BRF’S global strategy, Brf-onefoods (BRF) and Al Madina Logistics (AMLS) have successful­ly integrated BRF’S SAP ERP system with AMLS’ WMS system for better flow of informatio­n and data. This integratio­n will help systems to update the data and flow of informatio­n in real-time to help better decision making and analysing the demand and inventory management.

Mahmoud Sakhi al Balushi, CEO of AMLS, said: “We are pleased to announce the successful integratio­n of the two systems in record time with almost no problems”. “The work was done jointly by AMLS and BRF IT and operation teams. This step will contribute to achieving highest accuracy and efficiency of the inventory. We are proud of this achievemen­t and are happy to be part of the success of BRF in Oman,” al Balushi added.

“BRF has successful­ly launched the integratio­n of its operating system with AMLS, our logistics and supply chain partner,” said Didier, Country Manager of Brf-onefoods. “Now, we will be able to directly manage the operationa­l system and thus flow of the informatio­n, data and issuance of documents and invoices and manage the supply chain operations efficientl­y. All this will help us to further expand and meet the requiremen­ts of our customers in Oman.”

BRF-OMAN was awarded as the inaugural winner of the 2017 Logistic Excellence Program awards among the GCC countries. This required team work and close cooperatio­n between the BRF team and the AMLS team.
