Rumours on implants causing cancer false

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Health (MOH) denied social media reports that the implants used for birth spacing can lead to cancer. MOH said the implants introduction in the Sultanate was based on studies and recommendations by WHO. The method is safely followed in 100 countries around the world.
