ISG, ISWK score massive wins in U-13 League

MUSCAT: Indian School Ghubrah and Indian School Wadi Kabir registered massive victories in the Junior League Under-13 B games.

In the first match, ISG inflicted a 9-wicket defeat on Bosher Olympic Center (BOC). Chasing only 60 to win, ISG raced to the target in 6.2 overs thanks to Lakshmi Narayana’s 29-ball 46 not out. Brief scores (Junior League U-13 B): Bosher Olympic Center 59 for 9 in 20 overs (Lakshmi Narayana 2-06, Mithran Amarnath 2-06) lost to ISG 62 for 1 in 6.2 overs (Lakshmi Narayana 46 not out – 7x4) by 9 wickets.

In the day’s other game, ISWK piled up 257 for 4 in 20 overs thanks to a brilliant century by Athatva Shrikant who scored 102 off only 57 balls. Pavan Dhanasekar batted well too for his 44-ball 72.

MCCC failed to pose any challenge as it was restricted to 105 for 7 in the stipulated 20 overs. Satwik Sundara and Stevin D Souza bagged two wickets each.
