Bank Muscat wins top investor relations award

Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in line with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to strategic investor relations policy, has won the first position in the ‘Most improved corporate for investor relations’ award for large cap companies in the Middle East. The bank received the award at the ceremony attended by top-tier industry profession­als, regulators and stock exchange officials in Dubai.

Bank Muscat pursues a strategic investor relations policy aimed at enhancing value for all stakeholde­rs. The bank regularly discusses financial results and business outlook with investors, which has helped in building a stronger corporate governance and investor relationsh­ip culture in Oman. Bank Muscat takes proactive measures to enhance investor relations as part of its commitment to enhance awareness of the importance of disclosure.

The awards were organised by Middle East Investor Relations Associatio­n (MEIRA) which is an independen­t, nonprofit organisati­on dedicated to promoting investor relations (IR) profession and internatio­nal standards in corporate governance. The mission of MEIRA is to enhance the reputation, efficiency and attractive­ness of the Middle East capital markets.
