NBO concludes 2018 with Al Kanz Mega Draw

MUSCAT: The National Bank of Oman (NBO) marked the end of 2018 awarding RO 500,000 to two winners of the Al Kanz Mega Draw. The event was held at the Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM), under the patronage of HE Shaikh Khalid bin Omar al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service, was attended by NBO’S Chairperso­n, Board members, Senior Management as well as Sadara and Government relationsh­ips in addition to NBO’S brand ambassador, Ahmed Al Harthy.

In her welcome speech, Sayyidah Rawan bint Ahmed al Said, Chairperso­n of NBO reaffirmed the bank’s vision to become the ‘Bank of Choice’, highlighti­ng its key achievemen­ts and growth over the past year. The event was also a platform to introduce plans for the 2019 Al Kanz scheme while Ahmad Al Harthy, Oman’s Circuit Racer Driver took centre stage to reveal his new Aston Martin.

John Chang, General Manager and Chief Retail Banking Officer at NBO, said, “We are offering innovative financial solutions that encourage and promote a saving culture among our customers. As such, over the last 12 months only, Al Kanz has made a difference in the lives of 15,684 customers. By working hand in hand with our customers, we are able to ensure their financial security while rewarding them with big cash prizes.”

“As we move into the 2019 Al Kanz Scheme, we are raising the stakes with more chances to win more money than ever before. Last year was a great learning opportunit­y for us to evaluate the ways in which we could make the Al Kanz Draw more impactful and rewarding to our customers and non-customers.”

The 2019 Al Kanz scheme offers RO 1 million in the Mega Draw with an opportunit­y for four customers to win RO 250,000 each, granting double the prize amount of the 2018 scheme.
