Ooredoo, PACI hold workshop to support Omani artisans
MUSCAT: Committed to supporting different segments of the population, Ooredoo conducted a workshop with Public Authority for Craft Industries (PACI) to exchange ideas, experiences and current international best practices. Both entities are in discussion to sign a partnership agreement that will give Ooredoo and PACI the chance to share skills with homegrown artisans while also working on training projects. This was also a fantastic opportunity for Ooredoo to showcase its cutting edge and comprehensive products and services that cater for every sized business.
Raed Mohammed Dawood (pictured), Director of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo, said, “The number of SMES that are working on promoting handicrafts in Oman have grown greatly over the past few years and continue to play an increasingly important role in diversifying Oman’s economy and in boosting the tourism industry. We are excited to be working with the Public Authority for Craft Industries (PACI), so together we can support this sector to create jobs and power economic growth.”
