Muscat Airport gets top health accrediton
Muscat International Airport became the first airport in the Middle East to achieve the Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Health Accreditation, based on a programme designed to assist airports by assessing new health measures and procedures introduced as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This certificate recognises Muscat Airport’s commitment to prioritising health and safety measures in accordance with industry best practices and international health and safety protocols.

The Airport Health Accreditation programme was established to restore confidence in travellers about the safety of airport facilities and the effectiveness of the precautionary measures implemented to prevent any risk to their health.
This accreditation is a recognition of all the COVID-19 measures that the authorities have been implementing at Muscat International Airport since the onset of the pandemic. It also consolidates the airport’s commitment to uphold the best standards of health and safety at all airports in Oman and when serving its customers.
