LOCKDOWN BREAK IN SUR EXTENDED

The Supreme Committee tasked with tackling the developmen­ts resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, within the framework of its continuous meetings, followed up the effects of the weather condition in the Wilayat of Sur due to heavy rains and the flowing of wadis.

In support of the continuous efforts made by relevant bodies and the work teams to restore normalcy and to facilitate the efforts of the community members in dealing with the impact of the adverse weather conditions without violating the precaution­ary measures against the Covid-19, the Supreme Committee has decided to extend its decision to allow people and vehicular movement and opening of food stores, bakeries, restaurant­s, shops selling constructi­on materials, electrical and sanitary materials and animal fodder only in the Wilayat of Sur between 7 am and 5 pm on Thursday and Friday (July 22-23).
