DIVERSITY BRINGS WORLD TOGETHER IN QATAR AS WORLD CUP BEGINS
Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, attended the opening ceremony of the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022 in the State of Qatar. Prior to the opening ceremony, Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar, received HH Sayyid Theyazin who delivered to him the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and his wishes of success to Qatar in hosting the World Cup. Earlier, upon his arrival at Hamad International Airport in Doha, HH Sayyid Theyazin was received by Shaikh Joaan bin Hamad al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee.
