Oman veterans claim Egypt title

Oman veteran football team, which belong to Oman Club, emerged AFC International friendly tournament champions in Egypt after beating Cairo Aviation team 4-2 in the final clash. Oman’s team player Sameeh al Harrasi bagged the top-scorer award as he netted nine goals for the team in the tournament.

The veteran team managed to register three victories and suffered one loss. They topped the group and in semifinal they managed to beat Greece team 5-2 before defeating Cairo Aviation team 4-2 in the concluding game.
