HM’S PAINTING UNVEILED

As part of 52nd National Day celebrations, a painting of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik was unveiled at the premises of the Ministry of Social Development by Dr Laila bint Ahmed al Najar, Minister of Social Development, on Tuesday. It was designed by the Juvenile Affairs Department of the Ministry of Social Development. The Juvenile Affairs Department aims to rehabilitate delinquents by giving education to them according to their capabilities. The goal of making this mural is to enhance the spirit of patriotism and instil selfconfidence and self-esteem by fostering artistic skills. It took 14 days to design the mural. This mural will inspire juveniles who are placed in correctional facility to work on other upcoming artistic projects that will groom them as productive citizens.
