The formation and activity of clouds continued over Musandam Governorate, the coasts of the Sea of Oman and the Hajar Mountains, with occasional thunderstorms on Tuesday.

Most of the rainfall on Tuesday was over Musandam; although there were cumulonimbus clouds over Al Hajar Mountains that did not produce any rain.

According to the weather forecaster at Oman Met Office, there is a good chance for rain on Wednesday over the northern region of the Sultanate of Oman.

According to Met Office, there are chances of scattered rain on Tuesday night, sometimes with thunder, which could cause the wadis to flow in the various wilayats of the western Al Hajar Mountains.

Oman Meteorology issued a thunderstorm advisory for places such as Bukha, Al Rustaq, Ibri, Al Sinaina and Yanqul. The aerial photos showed clouds forming over parts of the governorates of North and South Al Batinah and the coasts of the Sea of Oman, with chances of sporadic rain, as well as the spread of high/medium clouds over parts of Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates.
