Liwa Model City opens today

As part of celebrations marking Oman’s 52nd National Day, HH Sayyid Belarab bin Haitham al Said will on Monday preside over a ceremony marking the opening of Liwa Model Residential City, which covers an area of 12 million sqm. The city, set up in the vicinity of Al Batinah Expressway, has been designed to accommodate 30,000 residents. It boasts a broad range of services and facilities, including 1,300 housing units and around 3,400 single and double residential units.
