Madinat Al Teeb Model City opens in Liwa

As part of celebrations marking the 52nd National Day, HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said presided over the opening of Madinat Al Teeb Model City in the Wilayat of Liwa, North Al Batinah Governorate.

The project also represents the approach of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning towards the construction of sustainable and sociable model cities in Oman.

CITY OF FRAGRANCE

The naming of the city stems from the Royal directives of His Majesty the Sultan. Madinat Al Teeb (or city of fragrance) consists of 1,300 single and double residential units provided with all sorts of public services and utilities. It was designed to accommodate a total of 3,400 units in future.
