Beaconhouse students receive Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards
Four students from Beaconhouse, Oman have received prestigious awards from Cambridge Assessment International Education, to acknowledge their outstanding performance in the November 2022 Cambridge examination series.
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards programme celebrates the success of students taking Cambridge examinations in over 40 countries around the world.
Cambridge places learners at the centre of their international education programmes and qualifications which are inspired by the best in educational thinking.
The following students at Beaconhouse School received High Achievement awards:
1. Muhammad Huzaifa Shahid in Islamiyat (IGCSE)
2. Muneeza Hashmi in Urdu (IGCSE)
3. Muhammad Usman in Computer Science (AS Level)
4. Muhaddisa Zehra in Accounting and Information Technology (A Level)
The Principal of Beaconhouse School, Zeba Masood, said that the awards recognised the talent, dedication and commitment of both learners and staff. These top performing students will receive their Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards at a school ceremony in the near future.
Beaconhouse Exams Officer and Key Stage 4 and 5 coordinator said: ‘It is extremely gratifying to see the students achieve such high results after all the hard work and effort, and they deserved to be acknowledged. The teachers have also worked tirelessly to ensure that the students were properly prepared, and they share in the success of these students. The results are a reflection of the enormous talent in Oman, not only amongst learners but also within the teaching profession.”
