Seeb look to dominate as Omantel league gets underway

Omantel League clubs are set to face off in the crucial week 17 matches on Monday, which will play a significan­t role in determinin­g the league title’s fate. Seeb aims to maintain the lead against Al Wahda.

Seeb, currently leading the league with 44 points, will face Al Wahda, who are in 12th place with 10 points, in a crucial match to maintain their top spot. With an 11-point lead, Seeb needs to win just two of the remaining five matches if Al Nahda wins both of their games. However, if Al Nahda draws their next match and Seeb wins, Seeb will be officially declared champions.

Al Rustaq seeks to climb the table against Ibri

In the second match, Al Rustaq, who are in 9th place with 18 points, will play host to Ibri, who is in 6th place with 21 points. Al Rustaq will be looking for a win to snatch the 8th spot, while Ibri will be aiming to maintain their position and continue chasing Al-nasr.

Three remaining exciting matches are scheduled to take place on Tuesday. Al Shabab, who are in 7th place with 19 points, will take on Dhofar, who are in 8th place with the same number of points, in a tough challenge against. Both teams will be aiming to secure the points and climb to 6th place.

The 17th round will also see other exciting matches, including Oman, who are in 4th place with 26 points, facing Al Nasr, who are in 5th place with 22 points. Oman will be looking to improve their poor results in recent rounds to maintain their fourth position. Al Nasr, on the other hand, will be entering the match to win and continue chasing Oman and potentiall­y snatch a spot in the top four.

The round will conclude with Bahla, who is in 11th place with 14 points, facing Sur, who is in 10th place with 12 points. Bahla will be entering the match with positive results and will be looking to win and escape the relegation zone. Sur, on the other hand, will be aiming to win and avoid the relegation zone.
