Ooredoo, Ericsson team up to provide upgraded digital customer experience

Ooredoo Oman and Ericsson have partnered to provide Ooredoo’s customers with state-of-the-art Ericsson Charging and Ericsson Mediation systems, providing an upgraded digital customer experience.

Under the five-year agreement, all exiting charging and rating platforms are being consolidat­ed and replaced with online rating and charging using Ericsson systems. The collaborat­ion significan­tly simplifies Ooredoo’s charging infrastruc­ture.

Through our partnershi­p with Ericsson, we leverage their cutting-edge solutions to provide our customers with an upgraded digital experience and innovative personalis­ed product offerings.”

Ooredoo simplified its charging stack by leveraging Ericsson’s flexible Business and Operations Support Systems portfolio, which uses industry standards and protocols, to seamlessly integrate Ericsson Charging and Mediation within its multi-vendor Informatio­n Technology (IT) and network ecosystem.
