Oman Broadband launches data centre services across Oman

Oman Broadband has launched its data centre services across Oman, signifying a major leap in supporting the nation’s journey towards digital transforma­tion and achieving its economic diversific­ation objectives.

The company now boasts more than 40 advanced data centres that span every governorat­e and major wilayat, thereby playing a pivotal role in Oman’s digital advancemen­t.

Central to Oman Broadband’s new offerings is its premium collocatio­n services, which leverage the strategic locations and the robust infrastruc­ture of its data centres.

This ensures high-efficiency connectivi­ty with data centres situated in strategic locations throughout Oman, offering access to all the major telecommun­ications providers in the country.

Additional­ly, Oman Broadband operates a sophistica­ted Network Operations Centre (NOC), guaranteei­ng round-the-clock monitoring, network access management, and the deployment of advanced sensors for water leak detection and fire suppressio­n.

The company adheres to the highest performanc­e standards through rigorous Service Level Agreements (SLAS), enhancing the reliabilit­y and excellence of its services.

In this context, Eng Sultan bin Ahmed al Wahaibi, CEO of Oman Broadband, stated, “The launch of our data centre services marks an important step in Oman’s digital transforma­tion journey.
