Royal Academy fosters future-ready leadership community
MUSCAT: The Royal Academy of Management (RAM) celebrated the graduation of the third cohort of the National Programme for Developing Leaders and Future Foresight, an initiative pivotal in preparing national leaders for the rapidly changing global landscape. The programme was designed in partnership with the Ministry of Finance (Offset) and the Eller Centre at the University of Arizona.
The programme, which aligns with Oman Vision 2040, focuses on developing critical leadership skills among 32 middle management officials from various sectors of the state’s administrative apparatus.
This cohort’s graduation marks another step forward in the academy’s commitment to fostering a future-ready leadership community within Oman, in collaboration with the
Ministry of Finance and the Eller Centre for Executive Education at the University of Arizona. The comprehensive programme is designed to cultivate a broad spectrum of leadership capabilities, including systematic institutional thinking, innovation driving, strategic decisionmaking, and agility in leadership.
Dr Fathiya bint Abdullah al Rashdi, Acting Vice-president for Programme Affairs, underscored the programme’s holistic approach, emphasising the development of a growth mindset, resilience, and effective communication among participants. The multi-faceted learning modules, enriched by the partnership with Eller Centre, aim to instil participants with the latest leadership strategies and insights, supported by mentors and supervisors from the private sector. Highlighting the importance of this occasion, Dr Luigi A Pecoraro, Executive Director of Eller Executive Education at the Eller College of Management, University of Arizona, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduates. He praised the Royal Academy of Management for its partnership and shared commitment to providing an innovative and impactful educational journey.
