The agreement, sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), represents a bold move by Abraj Energy Services to expand its footprint into African markets, following its successful operations in the Wafra field shared between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The signing ceremony, held in Muscat, brought together key executives including Eng Saif al Hamhami, CEO of Abraj Energy Services, and Farhat Aounougui, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Sonatrach. With the presence of industry leaders and dignitaries, the event marked the beginning of a new chapter in energy cooperation between Oman and Algeria.
