-

MUSCAT: Offering the best of both worlds, the Sifawy Boutique Hotel provides a majestic view of the rugged Al Hajjar mountains on one hand, and tranquillity of the Gulf of Oman on the other. The tastefully done interiors, facilities and the gracious Omani hospitality have all converged to evoke the highest praises from guests on TripAdvisor and secured the property a Certificate of Excellence.

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews.

Approximately 10 per cent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award. To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, the hotel has to maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

Sifawy Hotel has garnered rave reviews for its scenic beauty, spacious rooms and balconies, the resplendent marina, friendly staff and great food. “Since the opening of the hotel, we have endeavoured to provide our guests with a memorable stay. The flattering reviews on TripAdvisor followed by the Certificate of Excellence have boosted our confidence and inspire us to keep up the momentum. What is most encouraging is that it is a personal endorsement by our guests,” stated Daniel Fanselow, GM Sifawy Hotel.

“TripAdvisor is pleased to honour exceptional businesses for consistent excellence, as reviewed by travellers on the site,” said Christine Petersen, president of TripAdvisor for Business.

“The Certificate of Excellence award gives highly rated establishments around the world the recognition they deserve. From exceptional accommodations in Beijing to remarkable restaurants in Boston, we want to applaud these businesses for offering TripAdvisor travellers a great customer experience,” he added.

The Sifawy Hotel is the first marina front hotel to open in an integrated tourism complex (ITC) in Oman. It has 55 guest rooms including 30 suites, each with a private balcony offering a breathtaking view of the surroundings.

Designed by prominent Italian architect Alfredo Freda, the charming property is located in the heart of the Marina Town; the resort’s main entertainment hub to be, that will spoil visitors with a choice of restaurants, cafes, shops and night-life activities. Sifawy is already a major draw for tourists and visitors, especially during weekends, with people chilling out at the all-day dining Al Sabla restaurant or the unique beach restaurant, As Sammak offering tantalising catch of the day served in the style of your choice. Families can avail of the additional attractions that include hiring bikes and cycling around the ITC or relax with a board game from the many options the hotel has to offer.
