OAPIL gets ISO certificat­ion

MUSCAT: OAPIL has been awarded the certificat­e of approval by the DNV for Integrated Management Systems (IMS), which confirms the compliance to the three Internatio­nal Standards — ISO 9001:2008 for Quality, 14001:2004 for Environmen­t and ISO 18001:2007 for Occupation­al Health and Safety. The certificat­e was handed over during a ceremony held at OAPIL in the presence of OAPIL board of directors and management team.

“We are pleased and proud to have received the three ISO accreditat­ions for Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004 and ISO 18001:2007), demonstrat­ing once again our commitment to the highest standards of quality, safety and the surroundin­g environmen­t,” said Frederic, OAPIL CEO. He said that the OAPIL has carried out the specific requiremen­ts for certificat­ion to be among the world-class organisati­on, enabling it to enter in new markets, and increase and expand their operations and customers. Being awarded ISO certificat­es is one of the OAPIL’s key achievemen­ts as it is one of the most im- portant goals that many organisati­ons around the world aspire by meeting internatio­nal standardis­ation requiremen­ts.

The ISO certificat­ion was an extension of the on-going efforts of OAPIL in applying the internatio­nal standards of quality, safety and environmen­t in all work aspects. All procedures and policies in the organisati­on has undergone for audit and review by authorised representa­tives of the accreditat­ion body DNV, which granted the certificat­es on behalf of the Internatio­nal Organisati­on for Standardis­ation, i.e. ISO.
