MUSCAT: Woodlands, Muscat’s very own award winning Indian restaurant situated in Ruwi has recently undergone a total refurbishment during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The Indian restaurant which specialises in South Indian cuisine from the Chettinad region has had a complete facelift, from the huge wooden entrance door to hard wood flooring to beautifully decorated walls.
The new guest chairs are plush and comfortable with matching table tops that are sturdy and elegant. The interior design is welcoming with warm tones throughout the dining area, which is complement- ed by wall hangings from India. The seating in the guest waiting area has been increased for added convenience. Shaji Abraham, GM of Woodlands said, “Our refurbishment was long overdue. I am glad we opened in time for Eid and the reception so far from our valued patrons has been overwhelming. This will further motivate us to strive for even higher standards of customer delight.” The interior isn’t the only thing new on the menu. Soft shell crab and lobster are the new stars making waves on the shores of Muscat, both dishes can be served with or without Woodlands signature sauce.
