Oman’s IT giant Tariq joins global speaking network

MUSCAT: The London Speaker Bureau, the world’s leading speaker and advisory network, has designated Tariq Al Barwani, the founder and president of Knowledge Oman, to join its global network of speakers spanning across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia with 16 offices globally.

Tariq’s knowledge is represente­d among leading speakers in the world. “We are pleased to welcome Tariq to The London Speaker Bureau where his knowledge and experience­s can be shared with a wider audience. His achievemen­ts set a great example for other Omanis to learn from,” said Tom Kenyon-Slaney, chief executive of the bureau.

The London Speaker Bureau represents and works with some of the most influentia­l people in the world, from politician­s and economists to thought leaders and entreprene­urs who cover a vast range of topics, from management, politics and finance to technology, education, innovation and the environmen­t. It is Europe and Asia’s leading speakers bureau, specialisi­ng in corporate and conference speakers.

Tariq has been actively involved in sharing his knowledge and expe- rience as a motivation­al speaker in the field of informatio­n technology, business and community developmen­t. Tariq has presented over hundreds of sessions in the school, colleges, universiti­es and businesses in Oman, and continues to host live educationa­l radio programmes via the “Knowledge Talk” with the Ministry of Informatio­n’s, Oman Radio FM 90.4, on a weekly basis.
