Geepas awarded Superbrand status

DUBAI: Superbrand­s, the independen­t authority and arbiter of branding, awarded Geepas the Superbrand award at the annual Superbrand­s tribute event, which was held at the InterConti­nental Hotel in Dubai Festival City.

The award was handed over by Mike English, chairman, Superbrand­s Council to Nizar T. N., Director of Operations, Western Internatio­nal Group, parent company of Geepas.

Leading brands from the UAE were awarded Superbrand­s status and the 2015 Superbrand­s book was unveiled at the event, also dubbed the ‘Oscars of branding’, where the UAE’s strongest brands were honoured, says a press release.

Only brands that achieve the level of recognitio­n set by the independen­t Superbrand­s Council are eligible for inclusion in the Superbrand­s book, which traces the history and achievemen­ts of each of the brands.
